Blissful newlywed musician-composers Robert and Clara Schumann spent the first four years of their lives together in this classical house. From 1840 to 1844, the two masters worked (Rob composed his Spring Symphony) and entertained such guests as Liszt, Mendelssohn, Berlioz, Wagner and Hans Christian Andersen here. Their bel étage was renovated in 1999 and describes their life and work. Tours on Sundays at 15:00.
