For a gambler to visit Monaco and not go to the Casino de Monte Carlo is almost unthinkable. If you are looking for a casino that is steeped in history, then this is the one.

It was back in 1865 that the Casino de Monte Carlo first opened its doors. It wasn’t an instant success and the original building was eventually abandoned. The revamp was a success and it’s far more than just a casino though with there also being an opera theatre that is globally famous. Therefore, any opera and F1 loving gamblers will be in absolute heaven here. It’s a casino for overseas visitors who flock there every year and pump a great deal of money into the Monegasque economy.
