A small collection of paintings and personal possessions inside a hotel that between 1855 and the outbreak of the First World War was a magnet for several German Expressionists including the painters Ernst Bischoff-Culm (1870-1917) and Hans Beppo Borschke (1888-1914). Herman Blode (1862-1934) was the man who brought everyone together. Find him lying nearby in the cemetery next to the Evangelical-Lutheran Church.
