To book a room, or not to book a room, that is the question. Dickens, Joyce, Shakespeare of course and Tolstoy all have delightfully old-fashioned rooms named after them in this literary-themed hotel on one of the quietest and pleasantest streets in the Old Town. Surplus to the excellent facilities guests all get a fabulous breakfast, plus there’s a rather good restaurant and a relaxing bar too.

A lovely hotel tucked down a quiet little side street, yet still right in the midst of things. Good size parking lot at the rear. Nice rooms and individual feel about it.
