Gallerist, curator and art consultant Theresa Lizamore's fine art gallery and art consultancy showcases contemporary art from both emerging and established South African artists. Launched in 2000, the gallery takes the view that its success lies chiefly in showing a considered combination of works in the same space by both established names and young new voices. Young local artists represented by the gallery whose works feature regularly include Jan Tshikuthulu, Zolile Phetshane, Lindo Zwane and Patrick Seruwu to name just a few.
The gallery's main space is located in a house in Fairland in west Joburg. Lizamore & Associates also have a satellite exhibition space in Rosebank at the Rosebank Fire Station tower block and they host pop-up group exhibitions in partnership with RMB at RMB's Art and About Gallery at RMB's headquarters in Sandton at 8 Merchant Place.
