Long a fixture of Ljubljana's burgeoning foodie scene – in various locations around town with an unmistakable vintage food truck dubbed the 'green pig', as well as at culinary events such as Odprta Kuhna – Organic Garden now has a permanent address to call home, on Ciril-Metodov Trg just opposite the Cathedral. Vegan-friendly sandwiches, burgers, soups, salads, smoothies and other tasty treats are served up in a bright, minimalist interior, which has quite a bit of seating at high wooden tables. However, we usually get our order to take away, as the riverside, castle hill and plenty of other cosy spots to dine are within easy walking distance.
