Plas Mawr

Conwy has plenty of beautiful buildings but few turn as many heads as the Plas Mawr, a stunning piece of Edwardian architecture on the high street. Many people consider this the most impressive Edwardian townhouse to still exist and we aren’t about to disagree, as this 16th century stunner is as gorgeous on the outside as it is engaging within. The architecture of the building has hardly changed in the centuries since, and a number of rooms have been restored to their original functions, shining a charming light on life in Edwardian Wales.
