Located inside a former Victorian pumping station, the Castle Climbing Centre is the largest of its kind in the UK. It is also the busiest, although its 450 routes and 90 roped lines give a fine range of challenges for climbers young and old. Instructors are on hand to supervise the whole thing, although registered adult climbers are free to go it alone.
