Reasonable prices, a unique atmosphere and hearty authentic Uzbek cuisine make this place very popular. An English menu is available upon request. The shurpa (mutton soup) was some of the best we've ever sampled and the cheburek (Uzbek meat pie), pilaf and shashlik are all dripping with authenticity. The staff is very friendly, the food arrived quickly and with a smile. The cosy cottage interior bends time and offers a view into an obscure land where most dream to travel, but never catch a flight.
