Tarragon has swept up numerous awards over the years, including ‘Best Overall Restaurant in Malta’ for 2020, and rightly so. Right from its inception, the restaurant has maintained the highest standards, serving innovative cuisine accompanied by attentive service. All thanks to chef patron and celebrity restaurateur Marvin Gauci (also of Caviar & Bull, Susurrus, and Dinner in the Sky fame) and his superb team. 

The Wagyu beef and Black Angus Hybrid ragu tortellacci, with oyster and porcini mushroom cream are divine. We were also blown away by the 72-hour slow-cooked Black Angus boneless short ribs, enhanced with a Kinnie (Malta’s signature carbonated soft drink) and teriyaki reduction. Bursting with flavour. Melt-in-the-mouth heaven!

They also have an impressively extensive wine list that comes with detailed info about the varietals, barriques, stoppage techniques, terroirs and regions for every bottle of wine in the house.
