Cathedral Church of the Virgin Mary

Ul. Prosveshcheniya 1     more than a year ago
Built in 1552 this wooden church offers a unique insight into what it might have been like to worship in the 16th century. Spartan and austere, it is technically part of the Museum of Wooden Architecture, although it has a separate entrance fee and is actually located much closer to the Ipatievsky Monastery.
