The Moscow Choral Synagogue is the main synagogue in Russia and in the former Soviet Union. Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt is the spiritual head of this Synagogue. It has been recently restored. The Synagogue is also known for the famous choir of Michael Turetsky.
