This collection stretches across the whole of the Asian continent, with metal works and ceramics from ancient Persia, India, and South-East Asia, as well as large collections of costumes and art from Tibet, Mongolia, China, Korea and Japan. Of particular interest are the Eskimo walrus tusk carvings from Siberia, Caucasian ceremonial costumes, Siberian shamanistic tools and modern art works from the Southern Russian republic of Tatarstan.
