Sultan Suleiman Mosque

more than a year ago
If you’re going to build a mosque in honour of Suleiman the Magnificent, you better make it a pretty little thing. The men tasked with building this mosque on the banks of the Buna back in 1517 were successful, constructing a peaceful house with serenity in spades. One of the oldest domed mosques in the country, the dome in question was renovated by the Austrians at the end of the 19th century.
