The Amalfi Coast can be reaseched by car, bus or Ferry (via Sorrento) from Naples. Our favorite places along the coast are the towns of Amalfi and Ravello. Amalfi, once a booming maratime republic, is rich with history, as is Rvello, which is not a beach town, but rather a picturesque hilltop town which towers over the sea. Sorrento is the gateway to the coastline, and if you don't have a lot of time Sorrento itself is rather pleasant and a very short ferry, bus or train journey from the Naples.
