Ferry - Wagenborg Passagiersdiensten BV

The Wagenborg Passagiersdiensten ferry is the one and only way to get to low-traffic Schiermonnikoog. It takes approximately 45 minutes and is available 365 days a year. The timetable for departures to and from Schiermonnikoog are fixed for the entire year. Additional departures are scheduled during peak periods. From Monday to Saturday there are five departures to the island at 06:30, 09:30, 12:30, 15:30 and 18:30. On Sundays the first 06:30 departure isn’t available. You can take the ferry back to the mainland at 07:30, 10:30, 13:30, 16:30 and 19:30 from Monday to Saturday. Once again, on Sundays the first 07:30 departure of the day isn’t available. Cars are banned on the island and each passenger can bring a maximum of 30kg of hand luggage on board. After passing through the ticket checkpoint, you have to place your hand luggage in the baggage cars.
