Tilburg has a long tradition of Jazz music, but even though several of its pioneers were born here, these days it’s still a genre which is only regularly heard at a place like Paradox. Established long ago by Tilburg Jazz musicians as a place where all artists could play, it still serves that function today. Basically, it's an old but lively pub with a smoky atmosphere that's dark, hot and sweaty. In other words, the perfect venue for jazz.
