Musée Marc Chagall is a museum in Nice that stores very important work from the Bible in the form of paintings with biblical messages. Located on Avenue Docteur Ménard, Marc Chagall, the artist who created the museum aimed to have a built place which would solely showcase his work. This location boasts to have the biggest collection of Marc Chagall’s work that is open to the public. The work is mainly about the book of the Old Testament. However, the painter drew inspiration from other religious views, as well as secular views. Guided tours are available for those who want to understand in depth the meaning behind the paintings.
