Curionian Spit History Museum

  Pamario 53      (+370) 46 95 22 60     more than a year ago
The quintessential village museum, this small space close to the centre of town may lack the bells and whistles of modernity but it’s still worth the price of a Mars Bar to have a look inside. Items on display include replicas of amber figures dating from the Stone Age that were dug up during archaeological excavations just south of Nida, a collection of articles relating to local fishing and a grisly display celebrating the no-longer practised local custom of crow-catching.

Open 10:00 - 18:00 (June 1 - August 31). Open 10:00 -17:00. Closed Sun, Mon (September 1 - May 31).
