Ethnographic Fisherman's Homestead

  Naglių 4      (+370) 46 95 22 60     more than a year ago
Housed inside a traditional fisherman’s cottage close to the water, this wonderful little museum is packed with authentic furniture, household items and the general detritus of the local fishing industry. In an act of pure inspiration, many of the exhibits hang in the air on pieces of string, giving a ghostlike illusion of life to the place. Outside are even more exhibits, including a couple of beautifully restored wooden fishing boats.
