Established long before the renaissance of organic fruit and vegetables, this green market in the former fortress-moat continues to do a roaring trade. Being outdoor but mostly covered by a permanent canopy means that most days it's packed with people, come summer or winter, rain/snow or shine. Stop for a burek-break at one of the bakeries opposite, or a meaty snack at one of the numerous grills.
