Being set inside the grounds of the 18th centrury fortress is the main advantage of this cafe, also sitting alongside several other tiny venues. The interior is frankly run down, but this shouldn't be a problem in the warmer summer months, when an array of tables and chairs are scattered in the courtyard amongst the Roman ruins. Another redeeming feature is the friendly service (albeit in broken English) and tasty hot drinks.
