The brothers Dimitar Miladinov (1810-1862) and Konstantin Miladinov (1830-1862) were poets and folklorists from Struga whose strongly contested legacy from their early days through to their tragic deaths in prison is celebrated from a strictly Macedonian point of view in this interesting museum housed inside a beautifully renovated, centuries-old house. Downstairs is a permanent display of floor mosaics from a basilica dating from the 5th or 6th century discovered in the nearby village of Oktisi approximately 10km northwest of Struga.
