Found a few kilometres west of Lake Mavrovo in an idealic setting and immaculately beautiful inside and out, this massively popular restaurants serves some of the best Macedonian food available anywhere, including fresh trout, some good vegetarian pastries and their signature kačamak, a classic maize porridge served with sour goats’ milk and local cheese. If you can’t stand to leave the place, Korab Trnica also doubles as a decent hotel.
