The 83m pedestrian-only Art Bridge that straddles the Vardar between the city centre and the Old Bazaar is the work of the artists Kosta and Viktorija Mangarovski. A supposed celebration of Macedonian artistic history and featuring 35 likenesses of some of the nation’s most loved and important creative spirits, we can’t help wondering how Viktorija Mangarovski feels about the project considering not a single female is represented.
