On the main road between Štip and Strumica, the small city of Radoviš offers little in the way of entertainment for travellers looking for large doses of history and culture, although it does come with a certain charm and it also boasts a fine restaurant and a decent place to spend the night. With streets named after such historical figures as Yuri Gagarin, the city’s still got a long way to go before it reaches full maturity, but it’s definitely worth the small parking charge required to stop and have a look around.
