Don’t let the dramatic name put you off, this two-floor cocktail bar and club venue is a warm and welcoming gem, serving yummy, imaginative and well-presented lunches by day and, er, killer cocktails by night. It’s easy to miss, so look out for Little Wing pizzeria and beside it, you’ll see stairs taking you to this small-but-perfectly-formed venue. Its Friday night cocktail-and-dinner supper menu kicks off the weekend. And, while occasionally playing host to live bands, it’s currently best known for its Friday night Dipso Disco, Saturday house music session and Sunday’s free-entry Recovery Position progressive house club.
