Kon-Tiki Museum

First of all, let's briefly explain what Kon-Tiki is, for the ones who somehow manage to survive without that knowledge until today.
The Kon-Tiki expedition was a boat journey across the Pacific ocean. Kon-Tiki is also the name of the wooden boat, which was sailed from Peru to Polynesia by the Norwegian adventurer Thor Heyerdahl in 1947.
The Kon-Tiki boat is the central artifact in the museum, accompanied by other vessels and maps from the journey. And a cute little library of over eight thousand books, for that matter.
