One of Novi Sad's least well-kept secrets, the ever-popular Kafanica specialises in traditional Vojvodina cuisine served in a cosy setting on a small back street in the city centre. The interior is decorated in stereotypical country style (picture checkered table clothes and lots of knick knacks on the walls), and generally gives the impression of dining at your grandmother's house. The menu changes daily and always includes a few dishes you won't find elsewhere, so repeated trips are encouraged - even if you're only in town for a short stay. Highly recommended!
