The birthplace of Dürer’s wife in 1559 has been a restaurant since 1811, and is now practically a shrine to the Dürer phenomenon. Littered with Dürer-related paraphernalia, the food is of the gourmet variety and features catfish, steak, traditional Franconian fare and a daily menu of international favourites.
