Home to some 2,000 animals and 300 species, Nuremberg zoo is, for a zoo at least, a wonderful place. Applauded by conservationists worldwide the zoo features rock habitats and woodland where many of the animals can live in environments as close as possible to their own. As well as penguins, elephants and monkeys etc, the zoo also has a fine dophinarium, and aquapark complete with polar bears and lots of fun things to keep the kids entertained.
