Ohrid, Struga & Prespa

This awesomely simple regional treat is made from nothing more than flour, water, salt and oil and is definitely worth seeking out on the menu when you’re in the area. Taking hours to make due to the countless layers it’s made from, the finished product should be brown and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect with cheese, cream, salad or anything else that takes your fancy, try to find it prepared in the traditional way outside in the yard rather than in an oven as it’s often made today.
