Quite simply one of our favourite restaurants in Macedonia, Gladiator (it overlooks the Amphitheatre) pushes all the right buttons and more. Exquisitely decorated in peasant style without making you reach for a bucket and worth having a look at even if you spend your entire visit on one of their two tiny outdoor balconies, the menu is positively creaking with classic dishes of which the friendly staff will be only too pleased to guide you through. Home cooking at its absolute best.
