Struga provides a surprisingly large amount of culture for a place of its size, and when you’re not taking advantage of the town’s three beaches or stuffing your face with kebap we thoroughly recommend you take advantage of it. Home to the annual international Struga Poetry Evenings held every August and perched at the confluence of the Black Drin River and Lake Ohrid, as well as the selection of recommended places to visit listed below we also recommend you spend a little bit of time exploring the Old Bazaar and getting to see at least one of the centuries-old historical mosques. Neither of the two museums written about here have explanations in English.
