Siete Fuentes is the name given to the seven healing water springs that flow through this delightful hamlet 6km north of Santu Lussurgiu, which at an elevation of 684m can almost be described as a mountain hamlet. It also owes its popularity to St Leonard's Church, built in the 12th century in Pisan Romanesque. Next to the church, small buildings called muristenes provided lodging to pilgrims during the novena and are typical of rural places of worship in Sardinia.
