Arguably the most popular of the beaches in Cádiz, Playa de la Caleta sits in between the city’s two picturesque fortresses and is backed by the old bathhouse, making it one big Instagram dream beach. We don’t go to beaches for the photography though, we go there to sit down in the sun with a good book and plenty of cold beer, and Caleta is a great place for that too. Come here for the sunsets and you’ll be all sorts of thrilled, although you’ll likely have to share the space with the rest of the world. It’s worth it.
