La Caleta might get most of the tourist attention, but it is Playa de la Victoria in the new part of town that the locals go to when in search of a little sand and sea serenity. The beach stretches over nearly 3km and makes the most of it all, with a lively promenade of restaurants, bars and the rest backing it up. A Blue Flag beach (according to the European Union), La Victoria has plenty of facilities to keep the activities flowing during the summer months.
