This is Jajce, a town of history and treasure that just so happens to have powerful cascading waterfalls situated right in its heart, a fairytale town in the very centre of this most fairytale of countries. The Pliva falls used to be even higher but an earthquake put paid to that, leaving us with the 22m beauties we have today. Are we complaining? Not a chance, this is absolute heaven, one of the most beautiful destinations on the planet.
