Set a short way north of the Focus Mall, this wood-trimmed cottage is a visual delight filled with antlers, animal skins, and rural trappings, while the heavy menu harks back to 17th-century Poland, the setting of the Henryk Sienkiewicz novel the restaurant is named after: Ogniem i Mieczem (English: With Fire and Sword). All manner of farm animals (and the occasional venison) are served up here in portions that leave the table sinking a couple of inches, and while local beer is sorely lacking, homemade honey vodka comes to the rescue.
