What’s that sinister-looking building on Okopowa 9? It’s currently occupied by the Internal Security Services, though its history is far more creepy. It’s here the Gestapo had their Danzig HQ, and above the main entrance it’s still possible to make out lettering feebly disguised with concrete: ‘Polizei Prasidium’.
