Scoring an amazing view of Gdańsk Old Town, just across the road in Forum, Jungla is very much aware of the fact that it lives at the edge of the city's 'urban jungle', however that's just the start of its many whacky influences. The speciality here is cocktails, and you'll quickly notice that your drinking vessels are from the throes of tribal Polynesia, though its contents are distinctly Caribbean. Most notably, Mai Tai is an eccentric mix of two rums, almonds and lime, and their current best-seller, Hurricane, with a curious mix of rum and passionfruit. If that doesn't get you moving, no doubt their menu will! Inspiration from South-East Asia and Cajun Louisiana have clearly been on the chef's mixtape. Shrimps dipped in Bamboo Charcoal and Soy Sauce, Marinated Chicken-Burger with Jalapeños and Bao buns with pulled-beef are a fairly good cross-section of what to expect! Consumables aside, live music from a schedule of DJs and bands can be caught every Friday and Saturday from 20:00 til close. Safe to say, you're pretty set if you choose to spend an evening here!
