Gdańska Galeria Miejska (ENG: Gdańsk City Gallery), also known as the Gdańsk Municipal Gallery, opened in March 2009. This gallery on ul. Powroźnicza is one of three covered by this institution, the other two being 'Gallery #1' on ul. Piwna and the Günter Grass Gallery on ul. Szeroka. While these galleries are dedicated to the work of local artists and local themes, they also host international artists and exhibitions.
