Built on Plac Grunwaldzki in the 1950s, Gdynia's Muszla Koncertowa is one of the city's most-beloved landmarks, playing host to regular outdoor theatrical and live music performances. In 2017, the shell was given a paint-job, an acoustics overhall and a long-term development to extend the existing building into a second floor for a restaurant venue. In mid-2019, Restauracja Muszla was opened.
