This annual festival gathers Kraków's best restaurateurs and dumpling dynasties to Mały Rynek to compete for the crown of the city's most delicious pierogi. Taking the form of an open-air food market, over the course of five days visitors can wander the stalls sampling a diverse range of dumplings, from deep-fried to pan-fried to baked to steamed, with sweet, savoury, seasonal or simply strange fillings. Try as many as you can and vote for your favourites. The competition winners will be announced on the festival stage on Sunday, August 16th at 12:00.
