Posted here as there is no other place to post.One of the best and most localised gifts that you can buy in Łódź has been surprisingly omitted from the list. It can be found at a tiny Kosher Shop (worth a visit on its own) called Pod Sliwa, set off Ulica Pomorska 18. Open from 10 am - 5 pm from Monday to Friday.Its Strykówska Sliwowica (Strykover Slivovitz) an original Jewish recipe for Jews from the nearby village of Stryków. Sliwowica is an alcholic drink made from plums.Available in two forms at an eye watering 72 (55 zł) and a "weaker"40 (45 zł.).
