Running on weekends only from mid-May to September 1st, Poznań's Water Tram (PTW) offers a slow, scenic trip along the Warta River, and (when fully functional) is also a great way to travel between some of the city's beaches and beach bars, if you aren't up for cycling. Unfortunately, in 2024, the service has been greatly reduced due to the construction of a new pedestrian bridge and other works along the riverbank. Four stops have completely been taken out of service until next year:  Politechnika, Rataje, Wilda and Szeląg. That leaves only two stops, but arguably the most important: Katedra - on Ostrów Tumski just below Chrobrego Bridge, and Chwaliszewo - by Kontener Art, near ul. Ewangelicka.

Tickets are available from the ship's crew at the water tram stop and cost 5zł; kids under 3, free.
