The local government, in an attempt to reduce traffic in the centre of Sopot and to provide more parking, have created a system called Eko Parking which makes use of a fleet of Electric Meleks and the car parks at the Ergo Arena. You can park you car for free all-day and then jump on one of the small electric buses which will whisk you into the centre of town. The buses run every 20 minutes from 10:00 until 20:00 from the end of June until the end of August and tickets cost just 3zl. The buses run on a loop stopping at ul. Polna (near the Tesoro restaurant and the beach); ul. Chopina (close to the Zhong Hua hotel and the beach) and then outside of St. George's church right in the centre, before heading back directly to the Ergo Arena. The service is highly recommended because of the number of cars and limited parking spaces available in central Sopot's narrow streets.
