The excellent Ergo Arena is diplomatically placed right on the border of Sopot and Gdańsk, hence the address which translates as 'Two-City Square'. The multi-purpose arena has been re-configured to host anything from Lady Gaga, Disney on Ice, and Night of the Jumps to the World Indoor Athletics Championships (hosted by Sopot) and the Men's European Handball Championships (hosted by Gdańsk).
The arena can host up to 11,000 people seated or 15,000 when standing areas are included. During the summer the parking is used for a park and ride system to save you getting caught up in the traffic in the city centre.
