Dating from 1870, this rather plain and austere-looking brick building is a bit of a mystery to say the least, and can usually be found under lock and key if no service is taking place. Sopot's oldest church is notable for its neo-Gothic Ascension of Our Lady chapel, which itself is the oldest chapel in the town.
