A hidden gem of Tarnów, Pół na Pół ('Half & Half') sits inconspicuously inside a passageway on the west side of the Rynek. A local favourite and rightly so, it offers some of the freshest, most mouthwatering Italian cuisine and comfort food you'll find in the city, including pinsa (smaller, lighter predecessor of pizza), handmade spaghetti with shrimp, burrata salad, daily lunch specials and more. The interiors are cosy and enticing, with warm colours and radiant lighting, and they also have a wide list of drinks that includes local white wines, local liqueurs, Italian cordials, alcoholic lemonades and other cocktails. You won't find many more contemporary venues in Tarnów than this eatery and the very funky bar, Srodmiescie, upstairs, which beckons stuffed diners looking for a stiff digestif.
